Crafter career.... is it just me?

My game could of just had a funk... but out of curiosity of those who are currently working through the crafter career, since the update does your jobs complete?
While playing today my sim finished a candle job and it didn’t complete, all tasks were completed but it didn’t reset itself and give me money. I’ve only played once since the update so it could just be me (no mods or cc in game currently so not that)
