Crazy high household bills

I've noticed the seasons increases the Bill's by an insane level....one time I shut them off right before the mail came and they seemed quite reasonable again, even though I had still been using the thermostat for the rest of the days prior....I wonder if you ran it until mail day then shut it off if the Bill's would react as if you weren't using it? Just a thought for someone to test, unfortunately my rl work schedule won't let me test it anytime soon

If anyone does test that however, please shoot me a message with the results :D
