Crazy high household bills
Just went to play a family I haven't for a while, they live in the biggest mansion in Willow Creek and I just got a notification that their power would be shut off in 24 hours...the bill is over $90k!...

Check your inventory. I had this problem and once I cleared (cashed in) all but less than 100 of my produce (mainly my dragonfruit), paintings, etc. from the household and personal inventory of each Sim they were millionaires! Plus the amount of cash they have does not seem to effect the bills in the same way the inventory did. They now have over 2million. Go figure.
