I never had a problem with the color wheel, and it is missed. They should never have gotten rid of it. When Sims 3 came out I had just gotten a new gamers pc the year before. My game played wonderfully from the start, up to LN, I started having lag. I installed NRass and it fixed the lag. After that, no lag. I have since gotten a new computer, and now I have no lag, nothing. My game runs the same as it did from the start, with all EPs and Stuff Packs minus KP and ITF.
My daughters play the Sims 3 on high settings on a typical Dell laptop, no lag and no problem. My third daughter was playing on a 2008 E-machine from Walmart from 2009- 2011. No lag no crashing, nothing.
