@Mariesalias - A great post explaining things Marie but I do want to correct you on one thing - Kotaku and other sources have cited that the original engine (glassbox) being used for the prior project was NOT used for Sims 4. I'm not sure what this engine is known as internally but they didn't pack Sims 4 into that online-only game shell apparently.
