If they worked on the hue thing, I'd expect it to be included with something as simple as finger nails. So, I'm not holding my breath for such a big adjustment to the game. Would still be nice if they added it to a few objects, but normally changing hue of all textures of an object won't look very good, so I don't really expect it on complex stuff.
I loved the cast wheel in TS3, but I also think it contributed to the lag. We also had patterns/structures etc, not just plain colors, and we could even add our own patterns IIRC. I don't see how they could implement such an advanced system this late, and frankly, I'd rather want them to spend their dev resources on more game developing matters. Implementing a color wheel for limited parts of the catalog would be cool, though.
