Create of world tool

I think we desperately need one at this point?I don't care if it's limited.I hope it's posdible, but I feel like we can have one that we can add worlds with certain terrain like dessert, city, lush.

    Agreed!
I know in the sims 3 it was free and free would be great but I would pay for something like this if need be, just give me the ability to do so!
Maybe as a stuff pack or game pack with some well known landmarks from around the world.

I dony think it should be paid

I hope we will get one eventually, and it may even be free, but I don't think it will be for a while yet. As long as they are still rolling out EPs and GPs with new worlds, they know that there are many people who will buy those packs primarily for the worlds. So they are not going to do anything to interfere with that revenue stream.

I think if we do get it, it will be the same year that they stop selling TS4 packs, and/or the year that they release TS5.
  • Agreed. And also an ability to edit existing worlds. I want that pizza stall from Discover University to many worlds!

I'd just be happy with a world/neighborhood editing tool at this point. Sims 2 and 3 had it built right into the base game. How is it nine years later and we still can't even make small adjustments or change the objects in our worlds? That's a staple of The Sims!

All this time and this game is still behind on the basics.
  • I would love a way to edit the world as well. Please give us the freedom to change the world to our liking. If it was possible to add lots in sims 2 in 2004, it makes no sense be stuck with premade lot sizes in 2023. It would be great if we could add interactive objects in the world.

For me another empty Neighborhood like Newcrest would do.

Another newcrest would be awesome. I am dreaming of a world without background buildings. The worlds we got the last few years, ever since eco lifestyle, have so many fake houses between the lots. They define the surroundings in such a dominant way that the we are stuck in it. Sure you can build whatever you like on the lot but as soon as you step outside of the lot you play the devs world, not your own.
  • Just one of many base features of the series that are not in Sims 4, not even after so many expansions.

Same for cars, elevators, spiral stairs, pool tables, drums and sims with different personalities.

    Don't forget regular slides.
  • I wish we could get a CAW tool, but realistically I don't think it'll happen because TS4 has been pretty bare bones and because of that, one of the major selling points for packs has been worlds. If you give players the ability to create worlds, you take away a good chunk of the buying audience.
