Created Sims can still get their diploma and high school grad picture!

I found this out when I went to the auditorium lot I built a small wedding area on the lot for small wedding.  I thought it would be the perfect place to do a wedding plus I could find a purpose for that empty space, but the wedding party won't let me select that lot!  Its limitations in the in the game like that that annoy me.  So I went into manage world to figure out what was going on, and found that the active lot was changed to Graduation Ceremony.  I was like okay why?  I created 1 sim in CAS and the other sim was part of a scenario I did, that was created by the game, so I decided I would take her to the lot around 6 to see what would happen and the Graduating students came and turned into the caps and gowns and went up and got their diploma, and even though I was considered a guest I was able to walk up and get my diploma even though I never went to school family created from a scenario.  I even got my High School graduation picture!  Great if you want to tell a story for the CAS sim that you can now pretend, they went through their graduation.  Or the early graduate which can now get their pictures and ceremony after aging into young adult.  Just go to the auditorium with a Young Adult Sim on Sunday around 6 when it is in the graduation phase and any young adult sims can pick up their diploma from the school as long as you have graduated from high school when other sims look at your profile from the friendship menu.
