Creating CC Object Help

I’ve found a piece of CC online which is a game cover case and there’s around 10 swatches all featuring different games.

I would like to create more swatches or preferably a new item of this with new swatches.

Would anybody know how to do this? As I obviously would not need to completely re create an object just use that object and add a texture or something? I have sims studio I’m just not good with this stuff. I’ve figured how to open EA objects but can’t seem to configure a piece of CC

Basically I just want to create a big games store but there’s not enough games to do so.

    You have more chance of finding an answer in the modding and custom content section of the forum.
    There is even a section with tutorials.

    Yeah that's basically it.
    All you need to do is get one of the textures of one swatch and edit it in a program like photoshop or gimp, then replace the diffuse map. Since you're not manipulating the mesh at all and just adding swatches, you can hit the new swatch button under the object category

    Or if it's a CC item you're recoloring, just adding a new swatch from opening the .package file in S4S.

    Unable to start own disscussion yet, put here. Altered a package with a new texture from Studio, changed package name, and saved. From the original package, copied and change file name, then done a different texture, saved. But I found that has overwitten the original package in Sims 4 even though the file has a different name? That is weird? Surely is you create another package different file name, it should'nt effect the original package that you started out with, should it?
