Creating vacation destinations out of residential worlds

One of my favorite things to do in game is send my sims on vacation. I was curious if anyone has any great ideas or lots that you have used to create vacation destinations within residential worlds.

It's never too late to give it a try. I find that certain worlds I enjoy but don't play in often. Vacations give a nice opportunity to visit these worlds without committing to them for regular gameplay.
