I certainly can understand if the pandemic has caused some delays in the timeliness of getting bugs fixed. But what is inexcusable IMO is releasing a pack & taking consumers money on a product that they did not quality control very well before release. & again, I'm specifically referring to Eco Living, which is where most of the bugs stemmed from. How did they not know that the Eco Footprint didn't work before release? How were they not aware that NAPS was broken and spawning clay, cakes, and whatever else like crazy?
& to leave the community hanging & not address it is what is infuriating. & the skintones....the 10/6 patch said they fixed some of the color swatches. Umm, no they did not. It's just another slap in the face. So many YouTubers posted that they weren't fixed.....& you can totally see that they're not. Again, where is the quality control before release?
And when modders can create better content & give us open world that is in beta, & fix the game & some of the super old bugs....it really makes EA just look sad. Thank goodness for our modders, otherwise I'd never be able to play this game.
For me, you add in that the content that they have released has been sub-par at best, not really the best themes (IMO) all the bugs, and this skintone situation....I'm really losing interest with this franchise. I've been playing Sims since day 1, & I can't ever remember a time I've been this disappointed, but this year 2020 has been the worst. I can let them off the hook for time delays due to the pandemic as the pandemic has caused all types of changes....but releasing broken products....nah, there's no excuse for it. Period.
