And you can't place additional round rooms on top of platforms. Platforms are the only work around to putting a balcony on top of a round room. I want a balcony on each cake layer. I can't wait until they update it more. I was disappointed that the last update didn't fix round room bugs, but I know they're doing what they can. They'll get to it eventually and I'm being impatient lol.
