Custom Jobs Coming In Patch: Self-Employed

You said it, it's just a title. Gameplay did not change from the way it is now, you still do your own thing on your own terms.

If it keeps them from showing up in rotational play filling NPC roles, though, and calling themselves "unemployed" when really they raise bees or own a restaurant, that's pretty awesome.

Oh, I hope this means that using this won't fill NPC roles with those sims who register for self-employment. Though it might be a shallow hope.

I'm so happy about self-employment :) Now that whim to 'get a job' will finally go away....oh, thank you, thank you, thank you. That's been so annoying as most of my Sims are self-employed. I love that they didn't give us the title of 'self-employed'....& allowed some customization that we can choose the name ourselves.

So I was expecting this to br in an expansion back kinda like The Sims 3 Ambitions, fully surprised it was in the Base Game. Oh Yessss Time to registor my Sim as a vampire Hunter!! >:) >:) I forgot when the EP introducing Reputation hope i can give my Vampire Hunter infamous in which vampires would be afraid. Time to say goodbye to Vladdy >:)

Lol wonder how many Serial Killers or Money Hungry Black Widows are going to be roaming around in my game. I do have one Vampire Hunter too :). Professional Baby Makers... Hmmm Just a Giga... you know good to have a variety of jobs available.

Well, well. Scratch another off the Sims 4 will never have X list.

The upcoming patch is so much more exciting to me than the upcoming EP!

I think, it will probably work best if you own retails, restaurant, vet clinics, bakery, etc... Not sure about the skills, but the higher the better, especially if you're getting the GF.. you should be able to be famous for anything, right?

I'm thinking to have it for my Sims, who just selling dragon fruits (Farmer), playing chess (Chess Player), selling their paintings (Art Dealer), or just playing the musical instruments (Guitarist for example)..
