Custom Paintings?

Is there a way to add custom images that your Sim can paint? Just wondering
  • Hello
You could use the " paint by reference " feature.

  • You can make additional custom recolors of paintings that do not override the original using S4Studio. You would need to install the program though and have some kind of photo editing software such as Photoshop or Gimp. Here's a YT video explaining the process if you want to check it out:

Hope this is what you're looking for, good luck and happy Simming! *Hugs* :)

EDIT: Oh, whoops, I apologize, you wanted to actually have your Sim paint custom paintings, this won't help you with that. Sorry... o.O
  • There are ways to place them but i don't know what they are. Sadly they only override old paintings.

There is a way. This person explains it in their mod description. Click on Show Quick Tutorial of How to Replace or Delete Paintings.

  • I think there is also a Mod that replaces the normal paintings and some of the emotional ones with images of pop culture and stuff. I don't know if it's updated though.
  • @rosemow Hey! First, you are one of my favorite creators! I realize this is an old post and you will probably never see this, but how do you make the custom paintings? photos? that you use to decorate in game? I have downloaded a few of your rooms and and been so curious about how to do it myself.
