Custom Photographs?

I'm not sure if this is possible but I thought I would ask.

Is there any way, a work around maybe, that allows you to add your own images as the framed images sims take in game with a camera? I have so much more control to capture candids by screen grabbing and it would e great to maybe put them in a folder where I could then choose the size and place it on the wall or table in frame like it was taken by a sim.

Possible?

  • It is indeed possible, but it requires a software called Sims 4 Studio and any digital imaging software.
Not sure if you can add your screenshots to the photo frames that are generated by placing a photograph on a surface or on the wall, but any other frame that is available under “decorations” should do.

I remember seeing a video tutorial on how to do this. Link below:

    Best of luck with it!
  • You can use the video posted above to make your own photos to hang...however they cannot be uploaded to the gallery because they are considered "Custom Content" any lot/room/sim you try to save to the gallery will be marked as having CC and it may cause other players to not be able to see or download your items
