This would be a very useful spell. When I don't like the look of townies I simply edit them with mccc without having to load the household. A way to change their occult status without playing them would be very welcome.
Edit: a spell like that would have to be blocked from autonomous use otherwise NPC spellcasters can simply strip our playables from their powers.
