Dead by old age
I'm aware that when the life bar is full, it gets animated, and the sim will die eventually but not immediately.
I'm playing with aging off, but on New Years Eve I turn it on for both active and not played sims. However, I get a feeling that some sims are around a bit longer than expected, so I wonder if anything was fine tuned recently? (like during the last couple years).
I found that a sim will die about 48 hrs after the life bar gets animated. Does anyone know whether those 48 hrs will only run while aging is on? So, if I keep it on for just a few hrs around midnight, it might actually take many years until that sim dies?
I'd love some input to help me consider whether I should run a longer period with aging on. I have 600+ sims, and don't really want to keep them all around longer than needed ;)
