I see. I just assumed it could be it, since they just stop with no explanation why when they suddenly stop, and won't resume for a few hours. But I'm no writer myself, so it's just speculation from me. :)
Writer's Block is a very painful and real thing. I have been writing most of my adult life. Actually started writing in grade school. I did go through an 8-year drought where staring at that blank page got me nothing. No ideas formed, couldn't move the story I'd been working on forward. Nada. It's painful.
I can only imagine the frustration when nothing comes to mind, and I doubt having a deadline for the whole thing helps either.
No, it doesn't. Am fortunately not in that position. Sometimes the best thing one can do is get away from that page, do life, and let things flow. Being a avid reader often helps, and having a sharp eye out for what is going on around you. I've even gotten ideas from simming.
As for the topic: Sims, kindly do what you're told. For once. Especially when it's something to correct your red needs meter bars.
