Dear Sims Team: Thank You for the Stairs, But.....

Did you have to design them to have a stupid L or h-shaped opening footprint on the floor above that doesn't easily allow for deleting those extra floor tiles to make a rectangle? This ruins any aesth...

Ah yes stairs grievances, I don't have any about the new stairs tool, it can be frustrating to get it to do what I want but I'm getting there, however stairs used to be able to land on a curved tile, like in this house I was building for RoM.

After the patch the white staircase was gone and I can only replace it if I move it back one tile, which totally messes the aesthetic so I'm not doing that.
I assume it was by design because stairs work differently now, but I'm sad.
