Death notification

Well so many people wanted more involvement with the deaths in the game and they did just that...I know MCCC mod has a way to disable them

I know it might be annoying for some players and it annoys me sometimes, but I'm glad death is noticed now. I found good solution for that. I have a social activities mod. I send my sims to the church, circus, museum or short vacation ( there is more activities to choose from) and they come back happy in no time. Or sometimes I let them be sad longer if the person who died was good friend.

I could understand if they were mourning over someone they knew but most of the time they have never met the sim that died. My toddler never met any of the last few sims that died but they got the moodlet the moment they turned toddler.

@simm621 I have this happening in my game too! & yeah, it's rough when deaths are constantly happening. My Sims' enemy just died and she got hit with a 2 day moodlet.

For me....I love the concept....as I wanted my Sims to react more, so I applaud the Devs for bringing this feature. But I hope they tweak it to where it makes sense. If my Sim is enemies with a NPC....they shouldn't be sad. Same with Sims they barely know.

I've never used the UI Cheats extension...but if this doesn't get fixed I might be getting the mod to get rid of the moodlet. & in the 100 Baby Challenge....having complete sadness 24/7....yeah I feel your pain.

I think they should shorten the mourning process for death of a friend - cause otherwise we might have a constantly sad popular sim :/

It's getting that way in my game right now, nearly all the walkbys are family or family to the dead sim in some way and almost all of those are sad. It's a depressing neighbourhood.

Oh, my goodness. This is going to make my having to wait on Seasons even harder. :'(

I like it a lot that they finally put it in, might need tweaking or something but I am so happy that they acknowledge this makes it perfect for a funeral when I get seasons.

Oh my gosh I was just trying to post about this exact thing. My toddler has a +3 for two days sad moodlet about the grandmother that he never even met?!?! Do toddlers understand the concept of death?! It would really help if the sadness was appropriate to the level of relationship (Why is my Sim mourning for two days over a random work acquaintance?!) AND the age of the Sim. He's a toddler. He wouldn't be sad about Grandma dying, he'd be sad about his snack being gone because he ate it. Seriously.

I'm glad it's there but maybe it could last for a few hours, easy enough to speed past that.
