How do you feel about the demise of your sims?

It's normal but I have to say that I have some Sims that I've kept adults for too long. I've used some potions of youths on my favorite Sims to prevent them aging up into elders.
I'm getting used to the idea of losing them too and I think I'm ready to let them age up now. I don't want them to be the same age than their children, it would be weird.
