Debug menu not working

So I’ve been having this problem for a week now. Where following all prompts, I can’t get the debug menu to show up on my sims. It does for other objects but not sims. I checked and tested everything in my mccc and it wasn’t anything in there. I just updated recently on my mods except for my slice of life mod. So tonight I just wanted to do a test and see if it worked. I turned mods off, and the menu popped up On sims like it was supposed to. I’ve added a bunch of cc and mods lately, but like I said, most playable mods have been updated, but could
Some of the older custom content like clothes or anything like that be causing the problem? I don’t use the menu too much just a bit annoying sometimes when I need it and I know it won’t work. I didn’t think having older like outfits and stuff would cause an issue? Would it? Sorry I’m brand new to all this stuff.
