I had built up a big farm of orchards and plants of all kinds , I then formed a club and had them do all the gardening like they were hired help. I built up such a massive farm that it was my sims sole income.
I had a male sim that had a lot of children with different women and I formed a club for them. Every weekend he would have his children sleep over and socialize with them. This does not work for toddlers.
I had a sim that was an artist and ran a shop. She had a club where she would have everyone paint. The club was in her house so all the paintings became hers. She then sold them in her shop. After time all the club members painted so well that most of the paintings were either excellent or masterpieces.
I had a lot of overweight sims in my game and made a club where they would all have to work out. Every time I spotted another heavy sim my sim would ask them to join. Once they became thin they would be booted out to make room for new members. When City Living first came out all the sims would constantly be eating at the kiosks , that has since been fixed in a patch so all the sims aren't overweight like before.
one of my sims had the lover aspiration, not sure what it was called. I made him have a club where he invited all the women he liked to join . This way he would be able to do all his first kisses and dates and all the requirements for that aspiration. Was quite fun because of all the drama.
I also use the club system to call extended family members together and set their activities to swimming or dining or whatever I wanted them to do together.
The town of Windenburg is to me the most beautiful of all towns and the open areas are quite large. I know so many more things came with this pack but it gets all muddled in my head as to what belongs to what pack , don't disregard it as just a party pack because it is so much more.

I found the town dead and very small, I moved all my sims into the city or any other town.
