I've been playing Sims 4 for over a year, and my first pack was Vampires. It's a nice one in that it uses the same base as Realm Of Magic in terms of occult sims, and adds enough gameplay to be worth the money at the beginning (plus it tends to be on sale around halloween). It also has a skill (vampire lore) tied exactly to learning a lot of the pack features, so it's great for new players. It's not the best pack, but makes sense if you are very new to Sims 4 as it's mainly self-explanatory.
