Decorations not showing up on DIY Christmas tree

I got the DIY tree for my sims to decorate for Christmas. I was able to select the various decoration options okay and my sims went through the actions of decorating the tree. When they were finished ...

Hi Crin - I did at first, but it happened again when I moved the tree out into the middle of the room. I even tried deleting it and buying a new tree, but that didn't work either.
