Decorations not showing up on DIY Christmas tree

I got the DIY tree for my sims to decorate for Christmas. I was able to select the various decoration options okay and my sims went through the actions of decorating the tree. When they were finished ...

Is this occurring on just one house or all houses ? Try testing to see if the same thing occurs with other homes in your game.
