Degree requirements and electives in Discover University

The 12 total classes (or 8 if you have previous degree credits) can either be a blessing or a curse. In my one save I'm trying to get all the degrees and in the other I'm trying to have a super average sim who likes to chill, but doing only 1 or 2 classes means they get straight A's anyway... so, :| I do wish they would make it harder, like actually attending class with your sim or adding a PhD option.
