TS2 also has real chess and pool/billiards games, where someone wins, and there are responses to the outcomes. Behaviors actually have consequences, up or down as appropriate. Relationship types and levels matter. I remember a time when poor Oberon Summerdream hosted an in town welcoming outing that included old lady Monty and one of the Capps. After the 3rd or 4th fight I took my sims to another part of the lot until it was time to go home as there was no making peace. Nothing exotic, but the game has a gritty feel more appropriate to the rating. The Germans have it right. TS4 is a game for little kids, so no wonder those of us who are older face boredom.
I remember the pool/billiards game, If I am recalling correctly you could also lose relationship when playing darts, I think I had one couple that almost broke up because of the relationship drop while they were playing a friendly game of darts. Yeah, I wish these things mattered more in Sims 4.
