Does anyone know if it's possible to delete whatever saved game you have now?? I want to delete the household I'm playing with and start completely over. I know that there is a "Saves" folder. Is it safe to go in there and wipe everything out?? I don't want to do anything drastic without finding out first.Thanks!

you dont have to you know.. just go to the main menu and press the "new game" button at the top of the screen it will take you into cas and start a brand new world.

Also, when you click "Load" at the top of the main menu, you can delete any unwanted save games right there.

I just went into the documents and deleted the files out of the saves folder. It was a risk but it worked for me. The game was the exact same way it was when I first started it up with the tutorials and all.

Anything you shared to the actual gallery will be available for you to re-add to your library. If it's just in your library it will not transfer to the new computer. So if there's any builds or sims you want to take with you to the new computer either upload them to the gallery or back up your tray file folder to a jump drive or something and simply replace the new tray file that pops up when you install the game with the old one. You can also do this with save files if you want to keep a current save file going on the new computer. Just back up your saves file and replace the new one with the old one.

you dont have to you know.. just go to the main menu and press the "new game" button at the top of the screen it will take you into cas and start a brand new world.

Oh - I didn't really want to start off in CAS, but if I must I must. edit -- i had gone and deleted the files anyway this morning before going to work. i just hope i didn't mess anything up. ooops :p

I did the same thing and took a chance that it wouldn't mess something up. I tried what Maclimes suggested but it didn't work. I'm going to have
the guide tomorrow and hopefully get some help to a lot of questions.

I know our local Gamestop has the guide, but I think I'll wait to buy it. Unfortunately, my phone has to be paid first before I can go out and buy anything else. :( Dang it!!! lol :p

What if you have like 50 " new games" and you want to delete some to unclutter stuff. Will your sims and your builds be gone unless you share them?

I am getting a third computer and before I transfer my sims onto the new computer, I want to uncluttered my sims games. So I have a question even if you take sims off and put it on a new computer your sims and sim build with still be there if you share them right? my last computer died and I lost everything all my sims and builds. I just want to make sure I have all my sims/build before transferring it. Sorry if this isn't the right discussion I could not find anything similar.
