As far as bills, this game is so badly coded, I use MC Cheats to lower the bill % to reflect more of normal Bills/Mortgages for my homes. Especially since I usually have big homes, with a personal staff, gardener, butler, etc. Those set bill rates are unrealistic, and pretty much Highway robbery!....Like real life!
I hear you, I also try to adjust what the bills should be by sometimes just giving the Sim "some" what is needed for what I know to be more realistic. Also, because the bill amount is often not only out of step with the amount it should be, but also how often the bill should arrive in the mailbox!
