@Stormsview ...Love your experiment! I didn't ever use a gardener in the penthouses (and never used the apartments), though I used a gardener in the 'Old Salt House'. I also never lived in a penthouse after seasons. Having stated all fo these qualifications. there are a few gardener things I could mention, including the bug. Personally, I've been using this (because of the bug - see the above thread for details on the gardener bug) to help address the need for a gardener. If the family has a large garden and could use some help with it, I buy 'patchy the scarecrow' if my family isn't wealthy (socialize with him long enough and he'll come to life and help with the garden - watch out for lightening, as if it strikes him you will need to buy a new patchy), and if the family is wealthy I got the 'vintage' stuff pack and hire a butler. (Butlers need their own bed assigned to them and live with you – they float around and do things here and there, including gardening, but are a bit buggy. Keep your expectations low on them, but they are helpful/useful to have around; Very much so with a large household, as they can help with fixing things, cooking if asked, child care, cleaning up doggie poo, & gardening.).
I'm really looking forward to when they get this one fixed. Yup. I have a lot of big gardens. :/
