Did Jacques Villareal kill his wife?

I've only checked in at this house briefly so far, but I do think I will include it in my rotational play since Hugo shows up in the same clubs as some of my other Sims a lot. I had assumed that Jacques offed his wife when I read it but I think the suggestion that Max did it is hilarious and plausible. Something is wrong with that kid.

My backstory on Jacques and his family is that he is a French-Spanish aristocrat (as in, French mother and Spanish father). They are living in some kind of ancestral home and Hugo is the heir apparent. Luna is an aristocratic lady. The Paragons are an elite, snobby club. Clearly there are some bad genes on Jacques's side that have resulted in his madness and that of his son, Max. I don't know where I'll go from there but it's safe to say that Lady Villareal (Luna's mother) was murdered.

Off topic, but in my backstory, Clara Bjergsen had an aristocratic mother and a father who was an art dealer or something. If I wanted to tweak with her traits or could add another, I'd add some snobbishness. She married down when she married Bjorn Bjergsen and in the game that I'm playing, that hasn't worked out. They started out as a love marriage but it got stale over time and they were just keeping up appearances and staying together for their kids when my game started.

I think that the ancestors of Clara Bjergsen and Jacques Villareal were aristocrats who were friends with the Von Haunt ghosts when they were alive.
