Did Jacques Villareal kill his wife?

I really think Max murdered his mother cos he's just too weird. In one of my saves, he's my sim's bestfriend and when he aged up to YA, I hooked him up with Olivia Kim-Lewis. Couple days later, my sim and her date are at a restaurant, turns out Max is the chef. I spot his wife as one of the guests and a few minutes later, she dies from badly made pufferfish ngiri. Guess who cooked that?
