I always thought she got eaten by Emily (the sea monster in Windenburg) and that's why ocean swimming is banned in all Sims 4 worlds. (Goes along with my theory that the reason we don't have firefighters is that Victor Feng slashed their budget after getting kickbacks from the fire sprinkler manufacturers.)
