Did they change the City Living schedules?

I thought there were two possible schedules for the City Living Festivals, basically starting on different weeks, but the past ... I want to say several, at least six or seven, saves I've started have all had the same schedule.  Fleamarket/GeekCon/Romance festival first, and then Humor and Hijinks/Spice festival second.

What I want is the opposite.  Humor & Hijinks first and Romance Festival second.  Because I like to play with 2 week seasons and I like to reshuffle my Love Day to synch up with the Winter Romance Festival in the second week of winter (while the first week of winter ends with New Year's Eve)  And I know that it used to happen, because otherwise I never would have thought of setting it up this way.  But I haven't seen that schedule in... quite a while.  And with all the changes they've made to the calendar, I could see it if the devs at some point decided it was easier to just have one schedule.

I'm trying to set up a base save, and I'd really prefer it if it had the schedule I like better.  So I'm trying to figure out if it will be worth the pain and hassle of starting (and later deleting) a dozen new saves in an effort to get the schedule I want, or if I'm fighting an impossible battle.

  • I know it’s a bit more work, but if you’re creating your base save what if you deactivate the seasons pack before you start, let a week pass, then activate seasons and save there? Would that get the schedule you want?

I'm not sure.  And honestly, there's a lot of stuff from seasons I use a lot.  But what I might try is setting the seasons to one week, waiting until the season change (or are about to change) and then changing them to two weeks and hoping that will force the schedule to be the way I want it.  I'm going to need to run in live mode for a few in game days anyway to playtest builds, cheat up skills and careers and whatnot anyway.
