I really liked the reputation system. My main character is an alien and that built in anger Sims have for them never goes away normally. The reputation system actually let's a good alien cause positive reactions. The Fame/Celebrity aspect is cool because it just adds some different interactions. I've always imagined several of my sims wanting to be famous so it provides that goal.
Cons: Yeah, a celebrity showing up at a club causes havoc. The music stops, the bartender abandons his post, and everyone just sits around in silent screaming and trying to interact with the celebrity.
