In real life I don't care so much about celebrities so I thought I wouldn't care about the fame or fame related things so much. And I kind a don't, but some of my sims do ;) And hunting fame really gives me some goals and makes my game a bit harder and that is something I have been missing.
But the most I like the careers I got with it since now I have many exciting careers for my 4th generation sims that I'm playing in rotation atm. I have an actress, then one on stylist career + making make up/style vlogs and photographing (Moshino stuffpack fits really well with Get Famous). There is one wanting to be a dj and making her own music, and next I will try to make a yogi/meditation teacher who is making money by recording or streaming "lessons" with drone and making videos to his vlog. If I get the Snowy Escape, maybe he can also record his trips to Mt. Komorebi, doing meditative hikes etc :) I feel like the video station and drones will give me quite many new and more creative possibilities to make money and I really enjoy that.
