Did you pay full price for The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs and was it worth it?

I paid full price but got bored playing after a while. Like i love the new CAS options, but gameplay wise it got dull pretty quick for me. It happened with the other EPs so Im going to take the cosmic hint and not pay full price for Sims merch.
