Didn't even know this was possible!

So this happened in my game a few days ago, but I am only posting it now because I didn't have internet access on my computer in the past few days and couldn't post pictures, but this is too hilarious to let it pass :D

Recently, I downloaded a Voldemort sim from the gallery because I wanted to make my world a bit weirder with random fictional characters. I expected him to be a normal sim who would just turn up at venues or in the neighborhood like anyone else, but boy was I wrong!

It was New Year's Eve, my sims were celebrating at the lounge when I felt like wrecking some havoc with the Book of Chaos. I have a sim whose goal is to eventually become enemies with every celebrity in town. I've seen Judith Ward at the lounge and wanted to use the book to make her pee herself, however, I accidentally clicked the wrong option and made her drown in her own pee, but I went along with it because it was hilarious :D

The surprising moment was when Voldemort turned up as the grim reaper.

I wanted my sim to befriend him, so I sent him to Studio PBP because there was an award show and I wanted to prank some celebrities. I set the bouncer on fire (my sim hates her for some reason):

Aaaaand there he was again:

I later killed another sim and he showed up again to pick him up:

The most plausible theory is that the person who created him probably gave him a hidden grim reaper trait. Note that Judith Ward was the first sim to die in this save, and I assume the grim reaper doesn't get generated at the start of the game, but only when the first sim dies. The game probably didn't see a need to generate a proper grim reaper because Voldemort was already there with the trait, so it just sent him to the lot instead. However, I looked it up online and there doesn't seem to be a hidden trait in the game that gets assigned to the grim reaper (it wasn't on the list of hidden traits on the wiki), but if this is true, where does he get his special abilities from?

Assuming it was a special trait that caused this, this means that it's completely possible to create your own custom grim reaper without editing the existing one with the limitations it has. Just create a sim and give them the grim reaper trait with a cheat (assuming you know the name of the trait). Now when the first sim dies in that save and your grim reaper isn't in your active household, he should theoretically come around to reap the dead sim. The grim reaper doesn't even have to be a normal human sim, because the Voldemort in my game is actually a spellcaster. Lol I should try to find out the name of this trait so I can create a Princess Bubblegum kind of sim and make her the grim reaper :D

  • Wait, there's a spell that can make someone drown in their own pee? So, some mage spent who-knows how long researching and experimenting to create this spell, and then was so shameless and proud of it's effects they published it for other mages, who then actually respect the spell so much they teach it.

"Why do you wish to become a mage? To control fire? To bend the very air we breath to your will?"
"I want to make someone drown in their own pee."
    "..."

"You came to the right place."

Even better, since everyone can use the Book of Chaos, not just spellcasters

    Book of Chaos?

It's a mod from the same person who made the Road to Fame and Extreme Violence mods, as well as many others
