Died and Disappeared

Has this occured just once or has it happened to a number of sims?

If it has occured a number of times to a number of sims, and if you have cc/mods in your game, move your mods folder to the desktop. Then start the game and see if the issue still occurs.

If the issues still remain, repairing the game may help. To do that, go to games library in Origin, right click on the sims 4 picture and click repair

It has happened multiple times. Each time I've tried to kill off a sim. I will have to follow your ideas, as I do have mods. I will come back and report my findings. A repair does sound in order cuz I've noticed a couple of other glitches of late:
My dog won't potty, he just looks at me when I tell him to go, and then the leash and him do that equivalent of a glitch/skip animation like when a sims arms go out to the sides in the jumping jack look
Same is true when I command sims to sit-up, stretch, or push-ups when energized.

These latter two are recent issues within the last month or so.

EDIT - in fact - this started about the time I added that mod you helped me find in another thread that removes the clothing from the sims when they shower. I'll have to look into that.....

Does the sims have plenty of room to die? The dead sim requires two squares, but for game, at least 36 squares usually guarantee that you'll see the death and Grim Reaper. Try picking some place more open.

Oh never mind. If it started by adding a mod, then this mod causes it. Outdated mods may also cause problems, so download latest and updated mods. Then remember the square fact I told you in this post and you'll see sims die.

If you have MC Command Center, you should enable the settings for Grim Reaper to come collect them when they die off their lot. I remember that as default, when a sim dies on community lots, they just disappear.
