Hm. I'm a broader-range player than I was last fall.
Colonist: replace all sims currently prepopulated in the world with their own creations - YES! Very much this, every time. I love making Sims and moving them into worlds, even if I never play as those Sims.
Legacy / Family Player: creates an extensive family tree using only one sim - I've often played this way, but never with challenge rules. I love rotational play as generations expand. This is how I've played since Sims 2, almost all the time.
Laid-back: does not take the game seriously, plays for leisure and enjoys using cheats / cc depending upon the necessary purpose - I've been doing more of this lately. Just sitting back and having fun. Don't know if it's the game that changed my gameplay or me that changed over time - I suspect more the second than the first - but I'm enjoying it!
Storyteller: performs actions in-game to create a story of which is written / depicted later - Almost? I've never told or shown my stories before this version of the game. Now I show snippets of stories but not complete ones. I'm making a story for me, storytelling to myself.
Rotational: rotates from household, to household - Almost always. Part of why I'm particularly enjoying Sims 4 is it does rotational gameplay the way I wanted it in Sims 2 and 3.
Not me:
Builder: replace all items in the world with player's own creations
Completionist: completes all game "goals" such as careers & aspirations
Woohoo hound / partyer: enjoys woohooing, enough said :)
Deviant: performs interactions just to see what may happen and / or creates a bit of chaos in their sim world
Role-player: takes on a personal role through their sims lives
Challenge: enjoys doing sim challenges
EDIT: I suppose I might be a bit of a role-player? But it never feels personal, so I wasn't sure about that one.
