Guys I just noticed my sims would get flirty every time when they go out to eat, even if they are not on the real date. It's like when does going to McDonalds considering as a hot date? I just wanted a couple that lives together a long time to go eat out but they get super flirty and flirt with other sims at the restaurant. My sims were on vacation and I don't want them to eat at home. It just spoils the relationships and I'm tired to use cheats to fix their relationships every time when they are going out. Makes me not want to go out with sims, I think it shouldn't considered a date and they shouldn't get flirty if they are not on an actual date!!!

This is probably a dumb question, so I'm sorry in advance - are you initiating it as a date, or are you just having your sims travel together somewhere?

No idea, but I noticed that in my dorm students easily get flirty because they prefer(?) watching the romantic channel. I never listen to music in-game, but could it be that here exists a romantic music channel, and that toy randomly chose that channel for background music in your restaurant?

I see it working that way:If your sim has their romantic partner in their group and noone else, that flirty moodlet is applied.

Also, it could be a lot trait for the restaurant. And yes, just like TV, there is a music channel on the radio that is called, yep Romance. Click the station and choose "listen to..." and it will tell you what station is tuned in. I've never noticed the flirty emotion from listening to it in earbuds though so don't know if it happens with a stereo.

There are also several objects that can cause flirty emotion, like the champagne bucket or incense burner or even foods, like the twin roses ice cream flavour and flirty heart shaped cookies.

Also, it could be a lot trait for the restaurant. And yes, just like TV, there is a music channel on the radio that is called, yep Romance. Click the station and choose "listen to..." and it will tell you what station is tuned in. Oh also - if you don't use mods just disregard this!! But with mccc you can disable autonomous flirting and it will make it so your sims won't flirt with sims that they don't have a romantic relationship with. That's a huge reason that I got the mod.

If it's a case I don't feel that it's right. Is just in the real life when I go with my husband to eat it's not always romantic we sometimes want to just eat, I don't care about the mood itself but I care about married couple that starts flirting with other sims and it spoils their relationship all the time. I just can't go out anymore and not spoil their relationships.

The reason that it says they are flirty is that it says that they are on a hot date, but they are not on a date. I just traveled and did not do any date , it's so weird.
