I just bit my hand really hard. I wasn't looking for a fight. I was just stating an opinion.
I don't even agree they should do disabilities at all if this is such a sensitive topic, because no matter how they do it, people will be offended.
When they make them incurable, people who play with disabled sims and want to un-disable them for their story will hate that. When they make them curable... Well, you already mentioned that there are more people that think like you.
I do have mild autism and PTSD. And I overcame a depression a few years ago. My eyesight isn't the best either.
And my sisters Ex sits in a wheelchair because of an accident and will remain in that wheelchair for the rest of his life.
So I am no stranger to the topic.
I am not offended by the fact that there are multiple (!!!) ways to bring dead Sims back to life in Sims 4.
I lost my mother at age 4, and I have seen her corpse at the funeral, and I watched my father die at age 15.
Still, I am not offended that it is possible to undie in the Sims. I don't use this features, but I am not offended they exist.
I got a bit personal here, and we have gone off topic. Sorry about that.
We can stay civil, right?
