I don't think physical disabilities belong in The Sims because it is a parody of life. Sometimes to the extremes. Disability is nothing to laugh about. However, forgetting something which we all do, is funny, getting mad and seeing steam blow out your ears is funny, since we all actually have emotions at least most of us who aren't the robots playing. Some in this thread aren't even disabled physically, so why are you wanting this in your game? when those of us who are disabled physicially, are saying no. What makes you think you understand disabled people and what they want in a game?
ETA: Some of you can't even deal with a Sim who took to long to eat, let alone a Sim who is bed ridden for the rest of their life. Let's stop playing games and get real, this is all about 'make me feel good by showing my diversity'. (Because there would be threads of how many diabled Sims do you play?' how freaking shallow can this game go.
ETA: Just like there were threads of how many gays, or transgenders like these Sims are trophies, and or how many blacks and or whites and then those who said they didn't play any or were playing a story with all of one color or another were shamed into being called not a very diverse person'. This stuff has to stop, and no, disabled people won't be the next token for your feel good of how diverse you are movement.
ETA: Soapbox time. The Sims was a Parody, not a life simulator per se, but a Parody makes fun of life, it doesn't reflect it, it makes fun of it. Parody.
