I do not want disabilities in my game at all. I've lived with disabilities all my life, been bullied because of them. I don't need them in a game that I play to escape from life.

I can totally understand you and I think adding crutches and wheelchairs for temporary injuries would already be revolutionary and take a lot of work to program (e.g. all the new animations and needed items like ramps and lifts for stairs/bathtubs). Everything else (especially mental illnesses) seem so far out of reach to me.
Grant said they won't make people pay for the disabilities, so they would have to put all this effort into it for a free patch. It doesn't give me a good feeling tbh :/
