Disappearing Stairs

Question

Has anyone who built a house in the Sims 4 run into your (inside) stairs disappearing on you? This is my problem at the moment. I placed some stairs (to go upstairs), slid them out to make them a "double set", and when I went upstairs to place the fence, I looked back down and saw that my stairs were gone! (see image below)

The *back* of the stairs are up against the kitchen wall. I've tried rotating the stairs so they would be sideways, but I still end up with the stairs disappearing.

*Please note that the house is still under construction. I still have to create the rooms for the upper level.

yup that happens a lot for methe stairs are still there they just won't appear on the second floor unless you angle the camera

I got that with one house I made. Sometimes they'll flicker on and off really fast as I zoom in too. :/

So, am I to assume that if I upload this house, the stairs WILL be there and I won't have a problem should I use this house in Live mode?

Edit: Ahhh ... I see what you mean, @cauliflowers about the angle of the camera. I just tried that and voila! - my stairs appeared. Thank you and @CrowRidgeStudio for your replies. :)

HELP!!!  I cant see my stairs at all !  cant see them when installing ...it looks like they are placing,  BUT BOOM MONEY COMES OUT AND NO STAIRS?  also some of the trees and plants are doing the same thing.....any ideas???
