That was a bug and they patched the bug. They will no longer bite anyone autonomously, like seeing a vampire out biting a townie in a bar. Won't happen. And Vlad will no longer knock on your door and come back later to bite you to introduce you into the world of vampirism. And I suppose if you study vampire lore he won't show up to bite you then, either. There were ways to avoid even seeing them, but therer were so many complaints (I was in those threads where people were even complaining the twins were breaking in biting, not so, they are vegans) that they finally got what they wanted. End of vampires being vampires with their randomness.
They wanted a Gothic Victorian Stuff Pack and now they have it. Those of us who wanted a Vamipres Game Pack just got the shaft.
Agreed. And I played that pack for months and the only way to see a vampire was to read Vampire Lore in any other neighborhood. That was the trigger or becoming friends with one who of course would pop in for a bite, but the Twins are Vegans they don't drink blood so I can't hardly believe they ever broke in to bite anyone..since they won't drink blood! LOL I'm not happy the vamps I turned will not be in clubs biting someone over in the corner, it's the reason we bought the pack. And total truth, the Dracula I played was never seen out anywhere without me, anywhere, in any hood, so I have to say someone is confused or had mods. ETA: The pack worked exactly as it should except for that one bug about community lots. I never saw my own vamps out anywhere without me other than random townie I turned. So, I'm not buying they break in all the time..not.
Same, I bought it on release day. I have saves where my Sims introduced themselves to vamps and read lore and stuff who got visits, breakins, and bites. Other saves i ignored them all entirely and never got any of those things. I now feel wary about purchasing more content because I put out money in good faith for features I like and if two people complain loudly and constantly enough it will be gone.
