In addition to thise objects you said, yes many simmers din't use thise objects much like the voodoo doll, My big question now to the devs was why do they decided that reusing those items will make it interesting for us, if they really want to make us use of the content they created, then why don't they just put more interactions and gameplay on thise items to make them feel worthy? Last time I checked the vodoo doll has still 5-6 interactions. When I first got one I was saw excited for it but when I saw haw limited and boring it was I never used it again..
Sometimes I think that the Game Pack Team is much more creative than the Expansion Pack Team. Just think if the Game Pack Team created a pack about festivals, I bet almost everything on it will be new.
Also look at the Culture part of Jungle Adventure and City Living.
JA is a gamepack that has more emphasis on exploration, but they even got to flesh the culture part. We got a whole new skill, New dance moves, and a deep history that relates to the Selvadorada Culture. Meanwhile at the City Living EXPANSION pack that focuses on Culture, only gave us New foods that relates to it. The "festivals" are there to showcase different cultures they say, but really there us nothing new, I would rather go to selvadora to learn about the dance moves in which when I came back to my home world only y sim knew about it, rather than go to a big gigantic city about culture that basically use the items that I already paid.
The only new gameplay objects in city living was Karaoke, basketball(which was cut from the base game), the paint thingy, console and the yard sale. I couldn't believe we only fet 5 in an Expansion Pack. We also got the playform to play music, but we can already earn money with the base game without it. So its not new it feels like a new deco that does the same things you can alteady do.
