Discover university. Pros & cons for each university

I just got the Discover university pack, so now I'm really hyped to send my sim to university and get some degrees (my main goal is to get all the degrees and pass with flying A's). But there are two different universities this time so now i'm a bit confused. What are the pros and cons for each university?
Personal opinions on the two?
And of course, can one sim go to both universities ? not at the same time ofc, but like, take on degree on one and one degree on the other? Or are the same sim stuck with only one university?
Anything else i might should know before sending my sim to university?

But if you are following a sim anywhere, the camera shoots around all over the place, shoots up into the sky, I feel like I'm constantly readjusting the camera and I can't just look at my sim from the angle I want to without 3 hours of moving the camera around first! Plus like the above post said, there are so many stairs that if you try and ride a bike anywhere your sims will miss their classes because they'll still be taking their bike out/putting it away at one of the stairs. It does have a cycle path type design that you can use, but they never use it automatically, and you have to click on different sections of it to get them to use it at all.

thanks so much this is really helpful
  • I prefer Foxbury but most of my sims have lived off-campus. As @elanorbreton said, you should NOT use a bicycle if you are staying on-campus at Foxbury. The one Sim that I had living there was a spellcaster and he used his broom or the transportalate spell to get around. Those both worked quite well. I had a little trouble getting good camera angles at first, but then I used one of the preset angles to line up the camera for his classroom building and after that it was no problem at all.

Foxbury's biggest advantage is one of its organizations, the Brainiacs. Once you reach level 2 in that organization, you will get extra credit for all classes whenever you participate in any of the organization's activities. This is especially helpful if you plan to take multiple degrees from Foxbury.

Camera presets can be set by pressing Ctrl-5 through Ctrl-9, on the top row of numbers. Once they have been set, you can return to the angles at any time by pressing the numbers on the top row of keys. You can also snap to those angles by pressing Alt-5 through Alt-9 on the top row.

I never knew you could do this! You've made me reconsider the possibility of playing in Foxbury again - thanks :)
