I have yet to see a "death of a friend" type of milestone. Expected to see one after a child froze to death in the pool while trying to get to where the other sims were in the house... All I did was click ok on that, didnt know the sim would decide "hey, lets go via the pool to my friend...." WHILE it was blizzard conditions mind you....
